Whats the easiest way to get from Dumaguete to Panglao? Rather avoid flying if possible (expensive). Are there any fastcraft or other solid ferry options heading there? Preferably a bus free trip but if need to so be it.

    Thanks

Dumaguete - Tagbilaran departs late afternoon, takes about 2 hrs. Then taxi or trike - 15 - 20 mins.

The more upgraded beach resorts on Panglao island may have a pick up service from the pier if you have made an advanced booking.
Tricycles from the pier in Tagbilaran to Panglao, for instance Alona beach, can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. If a tricycle driver wanna charge U more than 250 peso he's over asking. Have no idea how much is a taxi or mini van to that beach. Please note that the side car of a tricycle has not the same size as you are used to in Dumaguete. So 2 passengers a tricycle with luggage is fully book.
