Looks like Edgar Winter (or Johnny), but what happened to Rick Derringer? BTW, the shaker must not have been too bad. I didn't here from My Wife so I'm sure She slept right thru it again.. Cheers

So far I have felt a total of 7 shakers, only the biggest one really got my attention so far, but I have a dog story. First I remember the elephants running away and heading for the hills just before the tsunami in Thailand, because they apparently could since it coming.

Now thinking back, My Rottweiler normally only barks and snarks when there is a reason. But it seems the reason I woke up for the smaller shakes at night, is because she had been barking for around 20 minutes prior the shake and around 1 hour prior to the biggest one.

So I'm thinking there may be something to the stories of animals being able to sense something out of the ordinary before it happens.

i think so, too. all the animals in our compound especially our dogs would appear agitated before an earthquake. maybe one reason why they're more sensitive to these things than human beings is because they don't have TV or radio or computer to distract them and their thoughts are not preoccupied with such mundane things as bills to pay. :D
