I don't think that one looks all that bad. Looks like just the nipa roof was on fire at the time the pictures were taken. Hope they got it out relatively fast.
Just got back from there. Appears as though el Dorado is pretty much toast, Vida homes burned extensively. Fire was still going half an hour ago. Major traffic jam in the area. Unless you're on a bike, best to stay away, or walk on the beach. A little concerned about burning embers - we're a few kilometers south, the direction of the wind.
Mike, of Mike's, was hosing his roof down. At this point, it seems to be confined to el Dorado and Vita homes, but the concern for areas, particularly to the south, will probably remain for some time.
Now I know why I have been seeing the bacong fire truck up and down to Valencia this morning as looks like no water in dauin to fill the tanks.
