    Thought about it but then again seems like I recall seeing a article about home owner getting in trouble for some kind of " Anti-fencing law " after a 9 year old boy died after getting hung in one. Plus after finding this YouTube - ‪electric fence‬‏
    What's the use ? There practicing getting past anyway. So better to save the electical cost.

    I would use it along with stainless steel high tension wire. It uses very little electricity by the way, and solar powered units work just fine. Electrifying barbed wire is a big no-no as animals and people can get caught in it.

    Yes Larry,he's getting bigger the vet weighed him yesterday after last vaccine, he's gained 3 1/2 kilos in 2 weeks !!!

    This may sound naive, but what, or who are you trying to keep out...common thieves? Is it common to install electric fences in the Philippines?

    Hi Jim,

    yes it's just to keep out the undesirables, same as most any countries you get some people like that, it's no worse here than in the UK, in fact i feel a lot safer here in Dumaguete.:D
