I enjoy celebrating Father's Day weekend with my 10 yr old son. We can not afford to go out for a good dinner very often (assuming you can find one here), expense, crowds, my disabilities, I am a picky eater. So I asked my wife to go to the Dumaguete fish market today and buy (if they have them) giant prawns and Lapu Lapu, both our favorites, for a twice a year expensive buy. Tonight, she sautéed the prawns in a nice garlic butter calamanse sweet chili sauce that was as good as any prawns I had in California. Tomorrow, steamed lapu lapu in ginger and herbs and a Yalumba red wine. Life is good here brothers (even though the beef here sucks).
