My wife went to two fiestas yesterday. Seems like there are always fiestas going on , baragays, towns, cities. A fiesta is to honor their patron saint.
For those of you you who have never been to one, I will share my story.
About 15 years ago I went to my one and only fiesta. That one was a catered event a local politician put on that for personal reasons, I was obligated to attend.
There were tables full of food, mostly lechon and side dishes from the remainder of the pig, Ears, nose, tongue (didn't ask if the privates were out there) and not much else, filipino spaghetti, panic, etc.) I don't eat any of the selections, so I went home Hungary. My wife thought it was great, of course.
