    My solution is practical and simple. An engineer would make it complicated, such as:

    5 = 2²+1
    10 = 3²+1
    ? = 26 = 5²+1
    50 = 7²+1
    122 = 11²+1

    Basically, the pattern is n²+1 where n is a Prime number (2,3,5,7,11..)
    So, 5²+1 = 26
