    My wife just got a message that there was a fire in Dumaguete. A cinema and house got caught in the fire. Hopefully no people got hurt!

    We would appreciate any detailed news of what has happened. Thank you!

    Please ask your wife to visit the website...www.visayandailystar.com..the news about the fire in dgte is all in there.

    I think the OP was refering to the fire today around the el oriente hotel/Felipe gardens across from the Noreco office. I it was indeed the cinema then that was the cinema that closed down recently (Ultra Vision). I didnt know about it till I got to my bar so you cant rely on info from a bunch of drunks haha:D

    HOw can it be in the paper when the fire just happened? Is that online? I passed by there last night and the whole Ultra Vision Cinema is gutted by the fire. Luckily, neighboring businesses and establishments were spared because of the fire wall and the fire trucks that were there.

    ??? unless you have a double identity on DI , I can not see any posts of you in this thread. We did not approve one link by a member as it ended on the same page as the link before, but that was from another member .. (or maybe it was a second ID of you ? :confused:)
