Hello, I am new to this site so I do not know if I am posting my concerns in the appropriate place. I read an article on this site talking about the Foreign Medical Program (FMP). I was particularly interested in how this program reimburses us. I have lived in Baguio City for about 12 years now, and I have joined and tried to cash U.S government checks in every bank here, and they will not accept them anywhere. Someone on the same post elated to the same problem, and said they were using Tricare because they will use the direct deposit system for reimbursement. I also have Tricare, but I find Tricare to be a paperwork nightmare, and even if the dots are dotted and the T's are crossed, your lucky that you receive anything. If your service connected medical bills are very high, Tricare isn't good either. Can anyone give me info on this?
