I know what means following in social media sites but they dont ask to follow you..they just do. So what exactly *IS* a Following Request in regards to this forum? Thanks

I don't know. I sent you (and 3 other members) a request to figure it out. I think it means that I get notifications when yo post. I wasn't sure though.

seems a tad redundant.. as you can click my name thats next to any post I ever make and see my whole activities list.. aka my posting history to back to day one..

off topic but did you know you just had a short term brownout..errr.. system crash? I clicked on the new posting button and got this reply

Fatal error: Call to a member function fetch_userinfo() on a non-object in /home/dumaguet/public_html/board/core/vb/library/user.php on line 703

then I could not get it to restart..or back up.. or anything.. I went to the main site..not the forum and clicked the forum button and got a CRITICAL ERROR MESSAGE.. check back in 24 hours.but ur back in 5 min

For forums with only a small number of posting members, yes, it is redundant. For large forums it certainly could be a nice tool to have. (I don't add this stuff to the forum, it is part of the software.)

Yes I know about the error and it should be fixed now. It probably said 24 hours because if I was away from the forum I would have been awhile before I noticed it. I just happen to be making a post right when it happened.
