If you travel between Lilo-an (Bato) and Cebu city on a Ceres bus there is a big chance that the bus has free Wifi on board.
Take the fast craft in Sibulan to Lili-an , and the aircon bus that brings you to Cebu south bus terminal has free Wifi (both directions)
    Quite progressive for the Philippines.

Mobile internet connection is very bad on the east coast up to Carcar. How is it on the bus? They might have better antennas to get better reception than I get on my cellphone.

No need to bring your office in the bus.
At least you can show you have a smartphone, and this for hours at no cost

True, along with trying to hang on to your laptop and your seat, it would be difficult to stay focused.

looks like it's getting to be a feature of Ceres buses all over. The northern coastal Mindanao highway also has wifi buses, at least that's what it says on the front of them.
