    Maybe you wanna buy a dozen of those? Or you prefer Philippine pan de sal? Hehe. But it's quite expensive though compared to the usual Philippine bread...

    and that one is backed in the PI... so we talk about overpriced local bread ???

    I stick to the baguettes with imported ingredients for 15 peso :-)

    They said the bread at Casablanca are pobably the tastiest in townm esoecially their wheat bread....

    Yummmmm!!! that was some slide show. Is the food really good at Casablanca or they only look good in pictures. I should try this next time i'm in town..

    Bread?

    My Philippine family members swear by Ricky's, except when I'm baking for us, of course. One loaf of the "American " white for them (yuck!) and one loaf of the whole wheat for me.. Ricky's price for the two together is the same as Lee / Hypermart for either one.

    BTW, Ricky sells buns big enough to hold my Killer, Monster, Hamburgers - the unqualified best west of Canada!

    I've not yet tried Gunther's Casablanca baguette. If these are as good as everything else he sells, they are a sure winner!
