    Hi Guys,
Anyone know where there is a good place to get some colorful fireworks for new year?
Someplace in Dumaguete downtown or in that area would be ideal.

    Thanks!

In the Dgte public market they told us that they are not allowed to sell fireworks anymore. I dont't know if that is local regulation only or if it is true at all. Maybe you can only find illegal fireworks in the town? Than beware...

I just bought a bunch of fireworks yesterday (fountains, fireworks, and rockets). The fireworks selling location is the same each year, if you are going towards Sibulan on National Hwy, make a left turn at the Mercury Drug on E J. Blanco Drive. After about 3 or 4 blocks (after you pass Dads Gastro Park) you will see a big field on your left, make a left turn on St. Francis and then make the first left turn to go towards a gate that goes into the field where you can park (I think this is called Russi Field). There are long rows of vendor tents there selling fireworks.

I agree that 12 year olds should not be permitted to purchase fireworks, nor should they be given to him. If you are an adult, I saw a vendor set up near the church in Valencia yesterday, across from the park.
