Let them grind the coffee when you buy it. They sell beans at the groceries at Robinson, and they have a grinder (as far as I remember). Same at Bo's coffee, they have several kinds of beans and their espresso is pretty good. They'll also grind the whole pack for you.
They have a good selection of whole beans at Belcris, I prefer grinding the coffee myself, it's like with pepper when you crush the corn/beans you release flavor and the coffee is just more tasty fresh grinded
I can highly reccomend artisans breakfast blend beans from hyper if in stock, best i have found for taste in 7 yrs.
Thanks Dave just what I'm looking for if you still drink it after 7 yrs then I'll give it a try if it's in stock I noticed they have Kelloggs cornflakes for 437 Paso's that's 6.50 gbp.
There's a coffee farm kinda thing that sells beans near Dauin, up the mountain. https://www.google.com/maps/place/B...8fad2e94fdfcbb3!8m2!3d9.2237292!4d123.1939995 I drive it with a larger bike, some go up there with scooters. The last 500meters of the road is unpaved and pretty much non-existent. Rocky going uphill. So be warned. Worth the trip though
Im not sure they are selling beans yet, they are waiting for the next harvest as they didnt have enough to sell.
