    I just updated my google translate app and noticed that it now supports "instant" translation from "filipino" using the camera. Your camera screen will show you a translation of any text you point your camera at.

    Far from perfect, it does allow me to at least get a somewhat rough translation of text. Useless for slang and shortcut or taglish writing.

    I rarely see much Filipino text here that would be translatable. When they figure out how to translate their text message short hand language that'll be worth something.

    Google translate does have Cebuano. Does it work with that language too?
