K R I up a block on opposite side of the street from the old National Book Store on Siliman. Aircon, 10 tables, cloth napkins and tabblecloth, great service and the most expensive entree is only 99p, all others are less. Impressive presentation of the meal, chef cooks with love and passion. I had the short ribs and will try something new each visit. Opens at 10am. Try it and you should be pleased.
I have tried the ribs.... marinated overnight and covered in a special sauce....excellent..... tried the burger, found it different but good...I like the angel hair french fries.....Not much of a tofu guy; but the shrimp and crispy tofu was very good..... the people are nice and the service was fair....I did not like the lemonade but the mango smoothie was delicious
We have been there twice. First time, very impressed. Second time, very unimpressed. Will try them a third time. Larry
Not sure....but to be "advertising' shouldn't the person posting have some connection / profit..... otherwise it is just an opinion on an eatery.....which is what I asked for.....several places have been mentioned on the forum.....Why Not.......Annebelle Jeans...... Coyotes.....Black Pearl..... nobody cried "advertising" when they were mentioned..... .....just want to know the difference so I wont break a rule KRI is solely owned by a Filipino family.....I understand they have an interest in South Seas.....Coco Grande......and a place near Twin Lakes..... not sure they need or want our "advertising"..... I still would enjoy some new eateries..... some new dishes to try
the composition of the story seemed me a little exagerated ( only praises).. and when you see the place from the outside ( i have to admit was not yet inside) maybe you can imagine my hesitations.
We all need to be skeptical about everything.....especially when there are only positive remarks.....that is why I admitted their lemonade was not to my liking.....they are limited in space and parking..... admittedly their service is not stellar but part of the problem is a very small kitchen...... If the manager makes the improvements they promise those problems should be reduced
Dear Kojak , I was commenting on the original posting by " Patty " . not yours . His or her report seemed to me a little " over the top " in all its praises.
