Aaahhhh ! Nostalgia. No X-Box, I-pads, or political correctness. When gay meant being happy. When most things were repaired, re-used and not thrown away. When people were men and women, not persons. When burning her bra meant she had put it too close to the fire to dry. When "do not resuscitate" on a hospital patients notes would have been viewed as murder. When you left your front door open instead of barricading it. It seems that the cost of modern improvements have been made at the expense of a loss of values.
To the point, getting less for more is the new way of living, less fun driving, more traffic, less love, more sex, less freedom, more regulations...and so fort...
