    Hello all. Is there any guest friendly accomodation, hotels or appartments in dumaguete?
    I cant seem to find any information about it, and I dont want to plan my dream vacation there only to find " it's no fun in the Philippines "
    Those who have stayed in pattaya Thailand will know what I mean.

    Sounds like sex tourism is the goal. There are plenty of dysfunctional scum foreigners incapable of finding women/men that don't charge upfront for their company that come here. You shouldn't have any problems finding a hotel. I would suggest Bethel Guest House.

    Yes. I remember once helping a person I met on the plane find a lady friend in Duma. He seemed ok chatting on the plane with him but he was caught on a return trip to Duma after meeting her on his first trip to Duma after the intro by me. His next trip here to meet her in Duma he was arrested at Manila airport with child porn on his laptop and phone. Seems he used to go to Angeles City a lot. They turned him around and sent him home and I had to find out what had happened because the lady here phoned me to ask where he was. He was arrested at his home port and charged but got off because it was impossible to prove the ages of the girls on the photos. Where the hell is the justice in that. Never met him again thankfully. Scumbag. A very bad experience.

    Look in the area known as Bajumpandan - a place to stay called DCJ. In fact, if not careful, some types can find themselves there without a prior booking.

    Rye, I'm sure there are plenty of sex starved dysfunction scum as you put it all over the world. I could give you a few examples from my own apartment block.
    Actually I'm looking at semi retirement there. Perhaps 6 months per year.
    Those here who assume I'm just a sex tourist, well that's typical expat talk.
    I know, let's get back to what expats love to do the most. Take glee in watching fellow expats lose all their money in a failed business venture.

    Thanks to those who attempted an unbiased reply.
    I work regularly with hundreds of Filipinos, so I'm looking forward to having a base in dumaguete over the next 20 years and travelling out to see some of them and their families too.

    Sure thing, play coy after being called out if you like but the wink wink "guest friendly hotel" and "if you've stayed in Pattaya you'll know what I mean" stuff didn't go over my head. I know exactly what you are looking for. Long term or short term, no matter how many deplorable sexpats there are world-wide, what you are doing/asking about is still sex tourism.

    Oh , believe me there's no nudge wink here. I want to know if I get a hook up , are their guest friendly hotels in dumaguete.
    Or do I have to get married first before being allowed a night of passion in dumaguete?
    Yes of course, that's it. Then I wont be a sex tourist. We'll be married.

    The way I treat people has always, and will continue to serve me very well thankyou.
    I certainly have never referred to anyone as scum in my whole life, but hey, it takes all kinds I guess.
