 A question I always keep forgetting to ask, does anyone here have or researched house Hold contents Insurance? or indeed Building Insurance Something I think we all seemed to have in our own countries but have yet to find locals that do, so maybe it is not the sort of thing people Bother about. Strange but as we spend on things it is worth trying to at least, protect some of the cost involved. I guess any new for old policy would be laughed at

Thoughts anyone! or am I pie in the sky here?

    MetroBank sells home insurance.
    PNB also sells insurance.

I have not bought any myself or studied the terms and conditions. The cost was about 2% of the policy per year which I think is inline with policies back home.

Standard Life do 'House & Contents' cover. In Valencia area they will cover for cyclone damage but not earthquake.
They are in the big office building on the corner of Silliman and Perdice and the people in the office seem to be quite efficient and friendly.
