For some its Money for others Friends or for the lucky ones Contentment, What do you value most in life, does it bring the inner peace most people search for? We live in an age of prosperity, yet why is it that many young people in society today are suffering from mental health issues? A lot of crime and violence that happens, we are told is due to issues the violators are found to have only after their actions have taken place. Have we as a society unknowingly created a powder box that's about to explode?
For the slightly older generation it's probably a combination of the three you mentioned. Good health is also important. The young generation certainly has different priorities than we do. But when I read how the so-called generation Z imagines the ideal life, I already have my questions. The role models are apparently successful youtubers, influencers, tiktokers, onlyfans women with many followers etc.The principle seems to be getting rich without much work. OK. then I wish them all the best of luck. But life is often pretty merciless. Some of those will have to experience that. later on in their lifes. I have finally found contentment after I retired. Having been fired twice and layed off three times in my earlier career, while raising two kids, life was a struggle. Keeping a positive attitude until things got better was key, but without contentment.
