How much does it cost to install a Jetmatic Pump? Do you need a permit from the city to install this in your property?

It all depends where You live.
Some locations you will find drinkable water at 10 feet deep other places you will have to dig 60 feet.
Just contact a well drilling company to inform you for your specific situation.

10 feet will be too close to the septic level. I would probably insist 60 feet deep for drinking water.

It was done more than 10 years ago by another foreigner ,so I surely paid too much! I dont remember the price and if I did I would probably be too embarrassed to say.

I used a local to make mine, p100 per foot, 47 foot before he hit water, plus the materials. Make sure you buy the best pipes and and couplings. I bought cheap ones and they lasted only a month.:(

Good info. I'm interested in the second part of the question as well. (har) Is the city concerned about how many wells exist or can you just drill and pump?

In the Philippines they like paper with a stamp and a signature.
So perhaps you might need a permit of the bariocaptain for 20 pesos.
Anyway if there is a need of a permit inclusive a architects plan, your well drilling company will tell you.
And again it will all depend the place where you will drill.
For a watertank on a platform a few meters high you need a permit very sure.
