Anybody recommend a local insurance co. (here in Dumaguete) ? I need to renew the mandatory liability for my bike.
I've been very happy with Standard Insurance Company, which is owned by Zurich International. They are on the 2nd floor of the Portal West building, next to Silliman University. Insurance for my bike, a 150 Rusi, is 300.40 peso for the year, giving 100,000 peso cover. Full comprehensive insurance for my car, 2011 Toyota Innova, with an insurance value of 900,000 peso, is 21,000 peso for the year. I would be looking at paying at least 4 times that much in London.
My experiences with them have been very positive also!!! Good rates, COMPETENT employees and very considerate to deal with. They have been one of my best professional interactions in Dumaguete.
