does anyone know where i can get peanut shells? we've been getting peanut shells for garden mulch from a peanut processor on the south hiway in sac sac but that's coming to an end cuz the processor discovered they can use the shells for fuel. a possibility; alex at green farms says there are a lot of peanut shells dumped alongside a river near Santa Catalina and he will haul some back next time his driver goes out there but there's no telling when *next time is.* i told alex i'd ask the group if there's an interest in getting p shells to see if it would be worth it for him to stock them at his vermicast plant near the airport, so speak up if'n you're interested and give an estimate as to how many bags you'd use in a year. norm : ))~
