There has been a monkey loose on Banilad road the last few days. It has roamed around the beach end of the road.. It has bitten one young lady who is now going through the painful rabies treatment. The Monkey escaped from possession of Sinbahan ni Kristo Church last week. It seems afraid to go back to the church because of suppose teasing, so it has gotten hunger and angry. It has attacked one car, tore a banister off of a house deck, and ripped up a large Kawasaki motorcycle seat and electronics besides biting the young lady. The monkey was captured last night and giving back to the Church but they claim to have given it to the Banagay, while the Banagay denies having received it. So the whereabouts are unknown at this time. Consequently one young lady is going through expensive and painful rabies treatment. PLEASE be careful if you are in the area. Also if you have seen a new monkey in your area, please report it to the police or city Vet. Luckily this young lady will not have to continue treatment if the monkey can be given to the City Vet. The treatment will continue to mid October, and is expensive to this young lady who works as a helper.
