"WOW" what a Storm we had around 1.30/2am Frantic Dogs and whipping winds Double effect Thunder and enough lightning to read a chapter of a book.
Looking around this morning I find that I have very little damage Flowers gone in places. Lawn under 3/4 inches again but that won't Hurt.
Anyone else experience this Storm? or did it not wake you.

I would be surprised if anyone slept through that, and we didnt get the worst of it. The main part of the storm was over dauin and zambo. Watched continious fork ligntening hitting the mountains over dauin,we had around 110mm of rain from that one storm.

Never been too good at this metric system but I guess I was about right with the 3/4 inches

BOTH gf and I slept right through it. Maybe it was not so bad here or maybe we are both sound sleepers.

(Edited as I got it wrong first time)

...or perhaps too much making of your own 'thunder' to notice??? (PLEASE do not answer that LOL)

Where were our local 'weather experts' with the heads up on that one I wonder? Seemed to big to not have given a warning.

Having grown up in a Cyclone prone area back in Oz where you went about business as normal, I tend to ignore storms like last night  But HARD to sleep with asawa and daughter thinking the end of the world was coming with each clap of thunder jumping around the bed!! :banghead: Have just finished catching up on the lost sleep now... (1:00pm sleep-in)

My only concern was the power going out. Interestingly we had a brownout Before the storm, was back on and stayed on during the storm though.

We also experienced a Blackout earlier in the night, and during the storm the power went out for maybe an hour or two, was back on early this morning. During storms I can understand because as soon as the first lightning strike hit with the VERY LOUD thunder the power went off instantly! But; Saturday we had 4x Black outs and the one last night and Zamboanguita/Maluay was not even listed in NORECO's Posted List for scheduled Brownouts... No Storms present then...
