    Greetings fellas.

I want to bring a small 100cc motorbike to Cebu City. I've visited the city pier (next to the boulevard) and found two places that allow you to take you and your motor to Cebu on an overnight trip. By boat of course.

Are there any other options that anyone would recommend?

    Just drive it.

Go to Sibulan port at about 4:15 am. Ferry leaves at 4:30. gets to Cebu Island side at dawn. 4 hours or less of driving and you are in Cebu City.

Plus don't forget your helmet(s) right? Is a "for registration" plate a problem over there?

Ferries leave the Sibulan and Tampi ports every 1.5 hours, starting at 4:30 am. Cost is about P200, or P300 R/T. Just go north to Sibulan, after the sharp left turn by the plaza, turn right and go behind the market.

R/T for a motorbike is P300, this is what I paid for in September 2015. In Sibulan first ferry will leave 06:00 am. From Tampi 04:00 am.
Best day of the week to travel is on a Sunday. Up till Carcar normally no traffic congestions. When you take the coastal road from Naga to the city you will avoid the traffic jams in Talisay and so on.

You can go at 4:30 in Sibulan. Or shoot me if I am wrong :-)

I had no problem with no helmet and a "for registration" plate but I think I was just lucky and did not get stopped. Almost every other motorcycle I saw from CarCar into the city had helmets, long pants, real shoes, and a numbered plate. Your mileage will vary but I would not try it again without all of above.

Probably best to have all of the above.....unless you have a bike faster than the popo's. I prefer traveling on weekdays, more retards and little kids on the road during the day on weekends in my experience.

New to my motorcycle this year: loss or damage are not covered while in transport to another island.

Best to carry your Reg papers and a return Ticket in my estimation
