There are many posts of the Forum for weddings, use the search function. A good way to go is to use a Wedding Planner, there are some real good ones in Dumaguete. They will guide you through the process and give you a list of where to get everything you need.

I got married in Dumaguete last year, you can look for some of my posts on the subject, if interested.

The paperwork needed to be done before you marry can be extensive..

Thank you. Is it still good to hire a wedding planner/coordinator in a tight budget?

I got married in Dumaguete 10 years ago and we did the entire thing ourselves. Had the wedding at Sta Monica resort which also served the food afterwards.. Other than that all we needed was a florist and a judge.

I'm am really planning to do it all by ourselves. How much was the cost all in all of your wedding? I think Sta. Monica is an expensive resto. + the venue.

Go there and ask about the pricing for their various banquet plans. I think using the grounds for the wedding was free of charge.

Rudy used to be the guy to talk to about it. He still works there.

Thanks for that. Anything else that should be noted? Tips or advice from personal experience? You know, things that will be encountered....

Are referring to Lindai's catering services? The manager of Lindai's?
