⌛ New police Help?

In his infinite wisdom, it seems that Mayor Perdices has now enlisted the help of the NPA to help curb crime in Dumaguete. Trying to get an accurate take on the meaning of that is a curious challenge.
Cabanag and his underlings are notorious for their tendency to hang the responsibility of any series of crimes on a recently apprehended or killed suspect. So what role will the NPA assume?
The extermination of former RPA-ABB commanding officer Richard “Jake" Rosales, who was gunned down in broad daylight last month, is somehow connected. And Cabanag has already suggested he Rosales was a gun for hire and responsible for a recent spat of homicides in the city.

So will will there be a new series of hit squads roaming around on motorcycles, or just more un-uniformed quasi "police" carrying guns.

Probably the truth would be stranger than any speculation.
