    NGCP explanation of the tripping of its Amlan-Siaton 69kV transmission line causing unscheduled power interruption last April 18, 2021, 1:46PM to 1:57PM, which affected the areas from Calo San Jose to tSibulan, Dumaguete City, Valencia, Bacong, Dauin, Zamboanguita and Siaton.

    Strong winds brought by a typhoon? There was a typhoon? I remember there being some light rain and a nice breeze the past few days but certainly didn't notice any typhoon.

    It was quite a bit Northeast of us. It is early in the season and this typhoon at one point was very powerful.

    In some areas nearby the wind was a bit gusty.
