I know Noreco are often the topic of conversation here and they certainly don't do themselves any favours - apart from giving themselves meaningless awards! So, to continue: We are one of the lucky customers of Noreco I who have seen our bills increase by around 50% this year. For this privilege we now have short outages or "brownouts" almost daily and longer ones at night and weekends. Usually, when we have a power cut of 15 minutes or more, asawa calls the local HQ to ask the cause and an estimate of when we can expect the power to return. They have recently changed the number (twice) but asawa, being an experienced tracker, always manages to get hold of an alternative number. Noreco got wise to this and started turning off their phone, or just not answering. Anyway, we had an outage at the weekend and some unfortunate at Noreco actually answered. Asawa asked the cause and when the power was likely to be back, to which he answered "I don't know, my boss just told me to turn it off" FMTH!!!! - What a bunch of amateurs!
