Huh? My electricity supplier is funding a radio station now?
Why? And who's paying for that, me probably?
How many of your electricity customers asked for that "service" to be added?
Shall we bet that there are none?

Look on the bright side, we can get updates about the power cuts on the radio now, probably best to have a battery powered radio but then again if your radio is not working you'll know the power is off.

Yeah, well, nobody's going to listen all day to a radio station that's dedicated to Noreco announcements.
Much easier for people to keep an eye on their facebook announcements. Come to think of it, they might abandon those announcements to attract more listeners for their new station lol.
Anyway, there's going to be few if any advertisers, which means it's going to be an expensive station to run.
I can't see any bright side.

All Philippine radio stations seem to be one long supplement/vitamin commercial. I'm sure they will find someone wanting to sell their snake oil.

Has anyone heard the radio station yet? I imagine after 10 hours of announcing coming Brownouts, the following songs will play in this order.
    - Welcome to the Jungle
    - No One really cares about us
    - Boom Boom out go the lights
    - Dancing in the dark

The 5 songs that I suspect may be banned on the Radio channel would be-

-You can leave the lights on
    - You've got the power
    - Sound of silence
    - Taking care of business
    - Electric avenue

And the one I wrote a few years ago but never published 'Can I have a rebate please?' Sung to the tune of 'Any Old Iron' by Harry Champion (the elderly Brits will know that one).
