The post just republished a notice about a NORECO center to pay bills in Pulantubig near the city northern line. But doesn't say where the NORECO Transmission and Distribution Center is. Anybody got a clue ?? none of the usual searches helps ?????????? Please be exact, i can never find the "oh, it's near city mall".....

I always hated the long queue to pay my NORECO bill....just wonder when they will join the world and offer online payments? I suppose that would put many people out of jobs?

I have paid my NORECO bill at certain banks, (only if it is paid before the due date and not all local banks can accept NORECO payments), but I cannot remember which ones as I now find it very convenient to pay at the Robinson's Mall sub office.

Perhaps the BPI on the national highway at the north end of town could work?

I sat down with the CSR at Robinson's new Noreco office and she drew me a map of the Pulantubig office. It's on L. Rovira, west of National and away from St. Paul's. According to her map, it's a few hundred meters west on the right (north) side of the street, but before the National Food Authority (NFA) and San Miguel. Haven't been there yet, as the Robinson's office Senior Line (sorry youngsters) is sooo convenient, at least now they apparently have two agents most of the time...

And yes, having the ability to pay online makes so much sense (like sky and pldt). Wouldn't affect number of employees, would just make the lines shorter. Noreco's main office is a zoo. Would love it if DCWD could go online too, but again, another "gummint" office...

FWIW, AUB (Asia United Bank) on Locsin St across from the Check Inn hotel takes NORECO payments. You have to use their little kiosk by the door to queue up, and "NORECO" is not on the payment list in the kiosk (but "Negros Oriental II Electric Cooperative" is).

We paid our bill two weeks ago at the collection center on Rovira just where i said it was in the first post, can't miss it, towers and wires in the front yard. Nice guy at the counter. The only guy there ahead of me was paying for a police station account with 150,000 pesos in cash, sorta fun to watch. Glad nobody decided to rob the place. Very empty, easy to use...
