time a letter to greenpeace or someone is put together
the phils really will go to the mass tourism commercila dogs
in the next few years if GMA has her way.
    greed knows no bounds

Sure, just look at all the destructions that took place in London, Paris, Rome, Athens, Seattle, San Francisco, New York, Miami, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore.....yada yada yada

Like it or not, progress is coming to your neighborhood---sooner or later....progress is what the majority wants may it be Mickey D's or huge malls...in a democracy, the majority still and will make the rule :D

well as Chur chill sauid the best argument against democracy is a five minute
    interview with the average voter
progress as viewed by the masses is not progress
unfortunately the masses usually haver low IQ;'s and bad taste
why is it that MaccD's is popular, Britney Spears sells
    and the tabloids do well
as i've said the masses lack taste and intelligence
I was hoping that as Du maguete was a university town
it had a populous with higher wants and needs than shite food
    andf tacky malls
I also thought Dumu attracted a better class of expat
judjing from the posts here I see this is not always the case
    thats why earl left
    You mention Rome
and Us cities in the same sentence
so by that you obvioulsy know zilch
Roman times prided itself on fantastic tasteful architecture
don't think you could say that about any Us city
Perhaps if the Roman empire had not fallen we really would be living in a "progressed" world rather than the tacky bad taste world we now have

Taste is abstract & to each's own opinion. Whether or not you feel the majority of people have good taste in food, music, art, or building structure isn't important here....The important thing is---I am just glad all those aren't being determined by a single schumuck...Like Kim Jung Il of NK. You need to wake up and smell the coffee and to learn to accept majority & democracy cause this is where you're at & the world is moving towards my friend.

well unless you are a schmuck i think everyone can agree
that the decor and architecture of hayahay is in good taste as opposed to M acD's which is in very bad taste indeed.
the world hasn't even got close to proper democracy and never will
given the clout advertising and other manipultive tolls large corporations use
    over the populace
