⌛ OK I looked but can't find fiberglass insul or rockwool

I was looking around the stores in Duma today picking up materials. I checked at City Hardware, Oimatiao (sp), LL near the market, and LKC. The only insulation I can find is the rolled Foam stuff.

I did a forum search for the stuff and found several posts but they list all the places I already looked.

I would really like to find some Rock Wool or the Corning 703 (i think that is the right number) to build some bass traps. I also need to insulate the ceiling above my 2nd floor rooms better. Rolled Fiberglass would be grate for that.

Any ideas where I need to look? I am running out of ideas.

Tom, what's a Bass Trap, as in the Fish?? Excuse my ignorance but had to ask ..

A bass trap helps to eliminate the buildup of low frequency sound waves in corners. In layman's terms they help make the room sound better. There are other uses as well but this should help you understand.

Thanks FireFly I will look them up next time I am in Cebu. I was hoping to find it closer to home. Oh Well!

 

Tom, Did you ever locate the insulation you were trying to find? We had a discussion about our build and the Question came up about insulation. Just wondered if you had located any in Dgte.
