a real beauty for those who like oldtimers ..guess it will be still here on the road for some more years, but not sure if it is fast enough for an emergency case :-)

Slower the better and maybe safer sometimes. You have to define "Emergency" to some considering the building next to the Fire department burnt down just behind and to left of the picture some years ago but then, It did not have to move

I asked one of the firemen there about it, and he told me it dated from about 1942 and was still operational.

I wonder if it too was 10 years old before it was imported from Japan?

d*mn... that is quite a firetruck. It is older than me... I surely could not p*ss a stream strong enough to put out a fire.... or even a match some mornings.

The prostate on that truck must be great... of coarse most buildings on fire here do burn to the ground as mentioned by JB.
I am wondering if they are any spare parts around from the truck that will help my prostate and fit me? Like the fire truck I do not move to fast either any more.:o o:

Yes, looking for a body shop for some repairs Jack... many times in the US there would be bars called the "Body Shop" with the appropriate entertainment to wake up the dead parts of most men's body. You know one of those around here?

    • I was wondering about that too! I was wondering about that too! x 1
