Maybe that's his idea of a muted microphone!

 

He's just trying to get the natural reverb from his voice bouncing off the opposite wall:p

 

There are so many of these singers now that are pre-recording their performances and just lip synching through it. I want my money back!

 

It is funny indeed, even I must say, after 12 years touring as a sound tech, that video would be one of the minor cases of stage-stupidity...

 

That made me wonder what other goofy stuff performers do?

 

That would fill books... falling from the stage, singing wrong lyrics, running half naked on the stage (after a quick-change) are just a few.

One of my personal favorites was a very popular German Popstar who was booked to promote a candidate for presidential elections on a event. He was booked only a few hours before as we were touring the same City the same day. He had nothing prepared and entered the stage promoting the candidate of the opposition
