    Hope this works...

Went to Oslob, Cebu a few weeks ago to see the whale sharks or butanding.

It was a fantastic experience and would urge anyone to go if they had the chance!

    Just a few pics...

    How to get there :

I live in Tandayag, so I went to Maayong Ferries and paid 75 pesos each passenger.
Arrived in Batu port in 30 mins or less and as there were 7 of us, I hired a v-hire for under 500 hundred for a one way trip to Oslob, Tan Awi. (10 mins)
There were a few whale shark businesses there...we just rocked up to Georges Whale Shark which was the first one as we entered. Paid 300pesos for spectators, 500pesos for locals who will swim/snorkel (its 1000pesos for foreigners, so I just shut up and didnt speak....I look the part!) and this includes the 1 minute briefing on what you cant do such as swimming nomore than 4 meters, no underwater flash, etc thren off we go for a 30 minute swim.

Se we get out, there are hundreds of people there already! We arrived at 6am!

    Anyway, the best experience had!

Hope this gives you people who have not had the chance to visit, to make some time to visit the wonderful Philippines islands nearby.

    Enjoy!
