it's time for me to take another thrilling Ceres bus ride to Cebu City.

anyone know if there's overnite parking at the Sibulan ferry terminal?
what would be the next best option, the airport or ???

    thanks...

I wouldn't park at the terminal, very dark at night and i think therefor not really safe....you can park across Municipal Sibulan at thePlaza's parking area
..along the Highway and just 300 Meters from the Terminal

I would park at home and either have a friend take me or hire a trike. Parking at the Plaza would probably work also... probably.

If you are going to visit the Immigration. There is a Boat that leaves the Dumaguete pier at midnight and arrives Cebu 6 or 7 AM then a short taxi ride to the Immigration. Then there is a fast craft from Cebu to Dumaguete in the afternoon unless they changed the schedule. I have a resident visa so I have not had to make the trip for awhile

what boat line/co leaves duma at midinite?
6 or 7 hours? does it stop at tagbilarin?
and what fast craft returns to duma?
are these big boats or do they bounce off the waves?

The Boat that leaves from Duma at midnight is Cokoliong shipping. It goes direct to Cebu but it is a big slow boat about 6 knots speed. It is divided into two sections one is air-condition dorm style bunks and the other is non air with a small Café in between them. they are bunk bed style beds with foam mattress The Café sells hot coffee and the Cup a Noodle style soups and cold drinks and snacks. But you can bring your own food and drinks. This boat is so big and smooth it seems like it is not moving. Just kick back relax have a sleep and some food. If your girl gets motion sick make some Salabat in a water bottle for her to drink and drink it before the boat gets going. the ginger helps.

The fast craft that you can get coming back is a big super Cat style boat with air-conditioned cabin and aircraft style seating it can get a little cold sometimes.
    Hope this helps
    Fare seas and clear skies.

Neither of the boats are small so they ride well, better than a Cirus bus for sure.

Just a further tip - George and Peter have a sailing on Monday night at 11pm from Dumaguete to Cebu. This boat arrives between 5 and 6am. A bit faster than the Cockaliong boat - but not much.

If you choose the cockaliong air con room be sure to bring your survival gear.. It's like the south pole in the middle of winter..
