⌛ Peach Schnapps

Fiesta is coming and it's cocktail-making time! :D Having a hard time finding one ingredient, though. Does anyone know where I can find Peach Schnapps in the city?

 

I suggest you try Times Mercantile on V. Locsin St. downtown.

 

and if that fails, find out where Guenther at Casablanca gets his from.

 

You will have problems to find peach Schnapps. It is not very common as peaches are no easy to handle fruits for burning "real" Schnapps. You can get peach liqueur.

Available in Dumaguete is imported Marillen Schnapps (apricots) which goes as Schnapps the same direction taste-wise and if you don't have a well trained Schnapps - palate, you wont see any difference.

Anyway, I just called "Big G" if you are in need of the real one, he can get you a bottle from Austria but that will take until mid december.

Wow, thank you Rhoody! I can probably make some other cocktail aside from Sex on the Beach so I don't have to go through all the trouble :D... but where can I find that Marillen Schnapps? I'm sure my friends won't know the difference

 

I prefer it not as a cocktail... but than again people have different preferences ... but with all friends ? wow... can I have a invitation ?

thinking twice, If I make that with all my friends, I will be pretty much alone... :(

Sex in Malibu..

Don't know if this will help, but when I used to Bartend the one drink I created that the Girls seemed to love the most was what I called "Sex in Malibu". : one shot Malibu, one shot vodka, one shot Chambord ( or raspberry liquor) and then top it off with a few ounces each of pineapple juice and cranberry juice. You can even put a dash of orangejuice on the top. Shake all these ingredients with ice and it's guaranteed to be a hit.. Cheers
