Only just after 3 weeks got rid of the infestation on the computer of pop ups , in particular the worst offender was that edeals , the halfwits that distribute these infestations around the internet should be drawn and quatered , the expense and down time getting rid of such is horrendous , if it wasn't a work computer I just would have put it in the driveway and kept driving over the top of it every time I came to and left my premises. Nothing I tried could completely get rid of it until I installed Spyhunter , this maggoty infection on my PC even altered the proxy server, browser and god knows what else , why don't they hunt these pricks down and deliver justice? Are they impossible to find in cyberworld or what , I would guess the money that they cost businesses is millions (not pesos but $) grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I have had very few annoyances like that since I have switched to Linux (Ubuntu 14.04). Unfortunately I had to dust off the Windows laptop to be able to mod this forum with vb5s extremely buggy WYSIWYG site editor......even worse is that it only works properly on Internet Explorer, which I hadn't had installed on a computer since.....ever.

I have always used Internet Explorer , but I am starting to have a change of heart , too many problems and crashes , this flogging infestation I had come from south America when I was poking around about Marky and Happy , system restore did not work nor did 3 or 4 other virus tools , I already had the paid for version of AVG , And that did not stop it or get rid of it , their contract won't be getting renewed . Malwarebytes did not get rid of it , in the end I had to send $40 USD to the states and spyhunter wiped it out , but it was actually hijacking my PC on start up , screen would stay blank for about 30 seconds then come on , now it just comes on straight away as before.

Hmm.......have you looked into Linux? You can download it to a thumb drive and try it before you install it. In all honesty, unless you are doing some heavy gaming on your PC Ubuntu is a much better OS for day to day use than Windows, it will never slow down and to get a virus you would have to try to find one. Oh yeah......and it's free.

I had a bug recently and KURIPOT is my middle name!
So I downloaded Spyhunter with a (c.r.a.c.k.) and installed it and as I have done since 1996, rebooted, only to be met with a DOS Screen instructing me to follow the prompts, hmm hrmmmm, hmm, mm mmm Oi? :worried: They were asking me to type in DELETE Commands! NO THANK YOU!

So out with the Hard Drive and into my other PC and; the dirty hoo hahs had wiped my C Drive! GONE! SOB's!!

That is the FIRST time I have been "DONE" on Windows and it was my own doing too...
In fact it was so bad, I HAD to install Windows from my legitimate Disc I bought but had never bothered using until now, so for the first time in 18 years I am LEGIT!

Obviously it was not spyhunter that you downloaded , the legit version works well , any decent program makes the necessary changes itself ,
it doesn't ask Igor to cut nerve A and splice with nerve f below 3rd vertebrate , frustrating though when some low life asswipe has designed something
to destroy and infect your computer , I would like to smash them in person because they truly are lowlife.
