PrensBana passed away unexpected and suddenly at home on Feb 26, 2013

About 6:15 am on Tuesday 26th February 2013 I was at home when PrensBana left for work. He seemed ok like usual. We hugged each other and kissed goodbye. Soon after I left home for a residential retreat for work at Ironbank, Adelaide Hills where I would spend the day and evening before returning home the next day. At about 8:00 pm on Feb 26, I called PrensBana's mobile and our home phone. He did not answere either call. I just thought that he might went shopping and just left his phone. At About 4:15 pm On Wednesday 27th February 2013, I returned home from the retreat. I was happy when I saw PrensBana's vehicle out the front on the main road. I went out to the back of our house in my garden with my friend Rose Pineda- Chapman. We picked some tomatoes for her and then she left after we chatted for a short time. I then went to open the front door as it was locked. As I entered I called out "Honey, I'm home" and he did not answer. I walked into the bedroom and saw him lying naked on his back with a pillow covering his genital area. I went up to him and tried to wake him up as he was not responding to me. I touched him on the hand and noticed that it was cold. I rang 000 and spoke to police and told me to put PrensBana on the floor. I used up all my strength but I couldn't move him because He was too stiff and heavy. I ran outside like a fool calling for help. I went to my next door neighbor but no one's home. I ran accross the road and cried out "HELP,HELP,HELP". They were not home either.
Then Brent Chapman came. I handed the phone to him. He tried to resuscitate my husband. Then police and ambulance came and pronounced him DEAD.

Oh God, this is making me crazy. In my mind, it's just keeps playing over and over again. Please comfort me and give me strength.

Pren, my condolences. I am sure your husband was a good man and I enjoyed reading his posts on the forum. I think it's a pity I never got to meet him. I don't know what words of consolation I, a stranger can give but I would point out that you did have your time together, you knew and loved him well, and he loved you, and as long as you remember him and the time you spent together, he is not totally gone. Pren, you must grieve in full measure, grieve for yourself and for those of us who did not know your husband as well as we would have liked to, so that in the future, thoughts of your husband can bring smiles again instead of tears. God bless you in this time of sorrow.
