There is a newish Thai restaurant that I tried last night called Aquarius. It's about 2 km south of Dauin down a short lane on the ocean side of the highway. The couple recently moved here after living for quite a while in Koh Lanta running a dive shop. The wife is a filipina but cooks authentic Thai, at least from the dishes we tried. Our first time so we had the som tam and tom yum and our friends had satay and larb. The som tam, tom yum and satay were excellent, after living in Thailand for the past 5 years I was pleased at how good the food was. They said they toned the spices down for the local clientele so if you like it spicy you have to let them know. Very accommodating couple with good food. We're already talking about a second visit.
Yup, went there today and we enjoyed the food very much. They have authentic Thai food (the best I have ever had in the Philippines), pizza, pasta, German and Austrian food. Follow the Facebook link above in a previous post and Google Maps, plus they have a good road sign/sandwich board now, so it's easy to find. Parking no problem in front of the restaurant. Bon appetit/gin khao/enjoy your meal!
I've sent a fb message asking if they do Tom Yum Gai as well as Tom Yum Kung, as not on the menu. No reply.
