1,000 Mbps (that's right ONE THOUSAND Megabits per second) for $199HKD (1,185PHP) per month!!

Wow, my brain doesn't have that much bandwidth capacity. Especially the connection from my brain to my *censored by Dude*.

This would be quite the paradox for me though, all that porn I could download with such a connection, yet the great firewall of China wouldn't allow me to download porn. What else is there to do with such a fast connection?

Its probably a teaser rate. I hear a lot of US marketeers are out of work and they are following the flow of fast cash wherever it may lead.

Well, you can download an entire movie in 38 seconds...

Actually, Hong Kong as a "Special Administrative Region" of the People's Republic is not subject to the same censorship as the mainland...not even close.

In fairness, the 1000 mbps is within Hong Kong. I am sure your speeds to servers located in other countries would be much slower, but still! I pay almost 4 times that much to get FIVE mbps in the Phils!

 Telefonica Spain Rent out ADSL at 300mb with a upper limit of 350 but when the Kids are home from School this can drop to 100 mb and less at weekend, Reduction? in Rental ha ha never. It is about 1.488p per month but we do get Free phone calls in Spain, I think a good Idea. I agree that this is just a catch thing and as here it will drop after a while,

    Speed? Nice! Price? Killer!

1 GB/second is available in many parts of the world, but not usually for that price!

    Fast? How about 40GB/second!

World's fastest internet connection 'used to dry laundry'

In the news paper yesterday here in the USsA , there was report of obama passing a bill or some kind of quota for expanded broadband service to allow "unprecidented" access to wireless service and in more places...I think it said expanding the frequency range they operate on to make more room for signals...I wonder if this will come with speed enhancements??
