Wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for the following. My son is coming to visit us Feb 10, he is single, a fire fighter, in his 30's (not gay). I am wondering what he can do here, we all know it is not Makati or Angeles. I was hoping he could go diving but looks like the weather may remain like it is now. He is not into seeing lakes or falls or camps. Enjoys wine, beer, and chicks. He has been to Thailand and Makati and had "fun" there. My sister-in-law (helper) is already planning to lock herself in her room to protect her virginity so probably no fun there. I imagine hanging out down on the main street of Bacong would not be fun lol.

    Hi Pato,
Give my best regards to your son. It,s all glum news for Firefighters at the moment all talk of cuts and more cuts. Hope he enjoys the experience of Dumaguete . Take care:smile:

His "fun" sounds like hanging out in Why Not, or maybe that bar called "Fantasy"

If he wants some REAL fun, get a super fast ferry to CDO and go on the longest zipline in Asia or go on a white water rafting adventure!

Otherwise there are alot of Barangay fiestas holding endless talent quests.....

?? and why not ??? seems that is exactly where you should go after 2 days here.

    2 days Bacong,
    a couple of days Bohol
    2 days Cebu
    fly up to Clark
    a few days Subic
    a few days AC

and back to real life ...

I concur, wouldn't want him to go home with something he didn't have when he got here. Don't know if it is true or not but there were earlier posts that some of the young chicks hanging out at WhyNot have VD!
I think Rhoody is right, spend a couple of days here then go to Subic. That would be deju vu, I was at Subic and Olongopo in my earlier days going through jungle survival school, hope he doesn't have any sisters there:eek:
