If you feel a post (or content) violates forum rules please use the "Report" link under the post/content you wish to have reviewed by a moderator. 1. Click the "Report" link: 2. Enter the reason for reporting the content in the pop-up that appears and then submit the report: That's it. The report will be added to a queue for a moderator/admin to review. Spoiler: Behind the scenes After you submit the report a notification will be seen by a moderator: After a moderator clicks this link we will see the following page: The reported post will be seen and below that your reason for reporting the content. Moderators may discuss what actions should be taken in the comment section. The user reporting the content will not be able to see that comment thread nor will they be notified of any action taken through the forum notification system. A moderator or admin may send a PM to the reporting member if more information is needed about the post. If the post violated forum rules warnings may be issued. Any member issued a warning is sent a PM explaining why a point was issued. If you feel a moderator, admin or owner of the forum has violated forum rules please do not hesitate to report that content as well. The owner and staff are not above reproach. No action will be taken against you for reporting staff content if done so in the manner shown above. If DI staff, admins or owners are doing something you are unhappy with we want to know about it.
Correction: A user may be notified through the forum notification system on actions taken against content they reported. This is up to the moderator taking action on the reported content. Same applies for the user that created the content. Sorry about that. This feature is so infrequently used by members that I have not made myself completely familiar with it.
