Double posting I'm sure is illegal as hell, but i just realized that the location of my other post is not helpful (Wrye, you can delete the other one).. I'm wondering if anyone has any info on RESORTS, like a weekend outta town within easy distance. We're lookin to take our puppy (pic adjacent).....
+Tirambulo resort in Mabinay may fit the bill. Was fairly run down when we stayed there but a lovely location. Only a couple of cottages and two rooms on a lakeside terrace. But the staff were lovely and provided us with a great evening meal which had to be pre-ordered. The place is set in huge grounds with two large lakes. Just loved it - walking our two dogs for miles and simply let them sleep outside the cottage at night. But not a place for those looking for luxury!
