Taking a lot of dives right off the front of our house. These shrimp like creatures were seen crawling all over an anemone at about 16 meters or so.

It is a bit a funny picture here . May I suggest you to use a filter like they have in Abobe 7 Photoshop in the future , That way I clears up and it will be easier to indentify . However . This one is easy . What you see is a Symbiotic Shrimp of the family of Periclemenis. This is the P. petersoni. Common name Glass Shrimp. All Periclimenis shirmp kinds live in Sea anemones but ONE strctly UNDER the mantle of the giant Nudibranch Hexabranchus Flammeus . commonly known as the SPANISH Dancer ( see attachment). Symbiotic shrimp live commensal and take care of cleaning their host of small particles and other like tiny parasites. In reward to this the host ( Sea Anemone ) give the proper shelter and security of a safe living to the shrimp that has no defence to speak of. Look close , the shrimp you will find on the left bottom of the Sea slug... Its name Periclimenis imperator.. very rare indeed...
