Anyone seen a rolling pin style back massager around town? Looks like a rolling pin used in the kitchen for baking with about an inch in the middle thinner than the rest so you don't beat the crap out of your spine.

I have been more active this year and even though I get 1 or 2 massages a week my back injuries are acting up with more vigor than they used to. I do not like the fact that I am relying on my VA medications 2 or 3 times more than I have in the past, some days taking the full amount prescribed.

I have a SO (Asawa) to be the 'rolling pin operator', just need the rolling pin so she has more leverage to loosen up the deep tissue in my back. It is too tight so it hurts her hands before she is able to help much.

Mine has a rolling pin but so far she has only used it to massage my head.

Had a good toasted bagel with cream cheese at Rolling Pin this morning. Thanks for the “heads up” on the name.

I'm in the same boat as you. Please let me know if you find one. By the way have you heard about all the changes at the Manila VA?

I certainly know about some, not sure if it is all of them. Maybe start a Manila VA changes thread and we can all add to it?

Don't laugh... go to YanYan and buy a wooden rolling pin. Then go to any machine shop and have them pop it in the lathe and machine the center as you require. Probably take 5 mins, cost 100p and you are set... My machine shop guy has made many wooden trinkits for me over the years.. Good luck..

My walks on my back once or twice a week, works wonders. You can't beat old methods sometimes
