Just installed Rosetta Stone with Tagalog Level 1 and 2, so look forward to posting here in a few weeks for practice ..

Now, if they only had Visayan as well :(

My brother just told me about an app he installed on his phone where you can speak words or text into the phone and it will translate into the language you have loaded. He told me some languages are $20 and some are $40. Tagalog is one of the languages, but I doubt any other Philippine languages are available.

Have the missus on the English one, she did two lessons. Rosetta Stone works by "immersion" as they say, associating pictures with situations, words and pronunciation. Have tried others to no avail, so am hopeful this one will be more successful for her.

    Will keep you posted

    Salamat
