Wow the city engineering dept did not have a plumbers cable to unclog my kitchen drain ...needs to be 30 or more foot length.... and needs to be 1'2 to 3/4 width hope to hear ....... one of you out there has one ......
If your kitchen drain is 30 feet to the trunk line, I would suggest installing a cleanout. I don't know if you can find it there but there is a product (called a water cobra here) that you screw on a garden hose push it in the pipe and turn the water on. Water pressure inflates the bag and passes some of the water through which builds up pressure and blows the clog out. I don't like them because it greates a cross connection between domestic water and sewer but I have used them in the past on construction where the pipe was full of dirt from installation. Needs must when the devil drives. I would prefer a cleanout and 25 foot of flat tape with a spade bit on the end if no type of auger were available that could reach the clog. I hope this is of some help.
